The image of the crown of thorns in our symbol signifies how far God was willing to extend his grace to us. Christ suffered and died, and bore the crown of shame in order to give us the crown of righteousness.

The Triune God, traditionally visualized with a triangle has revealed the plan of salvation to human kind. Christ arose from the grave, ascended into heaven, and sent us his Spirit.

The Holy Spirit has been given the biblical image of a dove. The Holy Spirit reminds us of the deed of Christ, who came as a light into the darkness.

Our Mission

Grace Church’s mission is to be a community where all associated with us by membership, worship attendance, participation in programs, or neighborly “dropping in” may find:

  • A greater knowledge of God and experience of God’s love,
  • An ever-growing commitment to living as whole-hearted and joyful Disciples of Jesus Christ,
  • An experience of sharing joys and sorrows with and among others who are on their way to a greater knowledge of God, and
  • Support and encouragement for ministry to others in home, work,  school, community and church.

We seek to live together, worship, and carry out ministries in such a way that more people are led to even greater participation in our vision and mission.
