We take comfort in the truth that we belong to our faithful Savior Jesus Christ. We practice Christ’s inclusive hospitality so that every person might recognize their place in God’s family. We believe this family includes people of all abilities, races, genders, nationalities, sexual orientations, ages, socio-economic statuses, and life stories.
We are being renewed daily by God’s grace into Christ’s likeness. We walk together in this lifelong journey of becoming more like Christ as we worship together and serve one another with care.
We place our confidence in God’s faithful love and sovereign grace. We believe in the triune God as revealed in the Bible—God the Father, creator of all things;Christ the Son, whose death and resurrection save us; and the Holy Spirit, who comforts us and moves in our world. We have faith that someday everything wrong will be made right because of Christ’s redemptive work. We support each other in living out this faith through every season of life. Together, we submit to God’s will as it is continuously revealed to us in Scripture and in the world, and we eagerly participate in God’s all-consuming transformative work.
We are called to share God’s love in every community, even to the “ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). We are particularly committed to our neighborhood, where we welcome everyone who gathers here in the same spirit—delighting in meeting one another’s needs, physically and spiritually, as members of one church family. We believe we all have something to offer and something to receive.
Grace Church celebrates LGBTQ+ people as image bearers, loved by God, and welcomes them whether single, in a dating relationship, or married. Those who confess Jesus Christ as Lord enjoy full participation in the life of our church, including ordination to the roles of elder and deacon, preaching, being married, having their children baptized, and filling all leadership roles as their gifts allow. We’ve been an affirming congregation since 2022.
