The center of our life together. Our Sunday service follows a Reformed liturgical pattern — Scripture reading, prayer, music, preaching, and the Lord’s Supper. Nursery is available for infants through age three. Children ages three through second grade are invited to Children’s Worship, which mirrors the liturgy in an age-appropriate setting.
Grace is an intergenerational church, and people of all ages are valued in our worshiping community. Nursery serves infants through age three. Children’s Worship serves ages three through second grade and reflects the liturgy of our Sunday services. Children sing songs, pray together, read a Bible story, have a snack, and finish with play time. Caretakers are welcome to stay with children or drop them off. Youth group combines with Oakdale Park Church for middle, elementary, and high school students. Some of our youth also attend other faith formation opportunities, including GEMS and Cadets, at other community churches.
All volunteers working with children complete background checks and annual Safer Church training. If you are interested in volunteering with children, please reach out to our Pastor of Youth Faith Formation.
Public Reading of Scripture (PROS), a national effort based on 1 Timothy 4:13, meets on Thursdays at Grace from 12:00-1:00 p.m. PRS is a return to the ancient practice of listening to Scripture read aloud, just as the original recipients of Scripture would have experienced it.
“No Name NA” is an independent meeting that gathers at Grace every weekday. Grace provides the space. The meeting is run by its own members. If you’re looking for support, you’re welcome.

Our Buckley Blessing Box serves as a drop off location for new toiletries and fresh or unexpired, pre-packaged food items. Members of the community in need of resources may take what they need at any time or drop off items for donation. Frequently, the same members of our community serve as our blessing box’s recipients and its donors, giving when we can and receiving as we need.
On Tuesday mornings at 9:30 a.m., members of the community may collect fresh and shelf-stable food at our location at Sheldon and Buckley. Guests receive a number randomly, which determines the order in which they can collect their groceries. We receive donations from a variety of community organizations and ministries, and food items vary each week. Our food pantry is open every week unless GRPS is closed for inclement weather.
Guests are asked for their name, the number of people they are shopping for, and their zip code. While others are shopping, food pantry guests and members of our church community gather together, enjoy coffee and conversation. Nurses are sometimes available on site for blood pressure checks and other questions, and guests may also access toiletry kits, outlets, and restrooms.
